Remember when I mentioned in my last Copenhagen post, that you need to be prepared to go off schedule sometimes? Well that happened during our quick jaunt around Nørrebro, I was all set to do some moderate damage at the Ganni outlet, when Present and Correct tweeted me about a pink park. You see, my aim isn’t to just have a feed filled with just selfies and pictures of my feet, oh no, but to go on a colourful tour of the world. I’ve already got spots like The Beverly Hills Hotel and Burano island on my list, but Superkilen Park is definitely one to know about if you want to impress with your niche knowledge of bold brights. It’s situated in one of the most diverse areas in Copenhagen and the aim is to bring different communities together, through playgrounds, picnic areas and objects relating to the various different countries of origin. It’s all very admirable and a real-life exhibition that you can be a part of.
It would definitely take somewhere pretty special to make me ever want to leave London, but Copenhagen is probably up there with New York, Paris and Amsterdam. I’d quite like the effortless Scandi style to rub off on me (though I’m not quite sure if I’d be so successful cycling in heels) and this Hygge mentality for Winter seems like something I can get on board with. Please bring me in your suitcase if any of you are planning on visiting!
