SUMMER IN THE CITY WITH MORTIMER’S ORCHARD
Nice knowing you Summer 2017! I jest of course, even though the heatwave seems to be on a break. Still, London in Summer is one of my favourite times of the year, as temperamental as it is. There’s so much going on (the Camille Walala exhibition is next on my list), people seem a lot happier and I always try and make the most of all those outdoor spaces. We’re quite fortunate to have a balcony in our flatshare and we’re finally hosting our first proper shindig there this weekend. Wish us luck with the weather!
A little while ago I spent a day out with Mortimer’s Orchard cider, showing them some of my favourite corners of London and chatting about style, blogging and all things Summer. I also discovered some other hidden gems, did you know that there’s an amazing art deco building just up the road from Angel? After spotting a few old theatres in the Deep South, it’s making me want to go on a bit of an expedition to discover them all! I know a lot of new visitors tend to head straight for the centre, but I love heading to the most random areas and seeing what I can find. After a spot of refreshing cider, we headed to the rather peaceful Regent’s Canal via SMUG and I wish that I could brave the cycling routes there to explore further. Knowing my luck, I’d probably fall in!
Watch the video below to see what we got up to! I always find it really interesting shooting with the professionals and I now can’t stop saying ‘I need more b-roll!’ whenever I’m vlogging…
