My Spring Wardrobe Updates
What’s this, a post with just outfits? I thought I’d interrupt some of the travel content briefly to showcase some wardrobe additions that aren’t just for tropical weather. Only the British Weather will have you wearing thermals on a Monday, bare legs on a Saturday and scratching your head in between.
I basically translate the dubious iPhone weather forecast into something practical every day. Less than ten degrees? Thermals, knits and the sunshine coat are the only way. Between 10 and 18? Try a flouncy top with jeans or a midi skirt with a leather jacket. Over 18? Time to bring out the straw bag and prepare for my best Blair Eadie impersonation.
Since I have most basics covered, I tend to look for fun prints that can be failsafe solutions when I’m feeling a bit stuck. These are all the things I’ve picked up on the High Street recently.
The Girly Blouse
The Perfect Leopard Addition
Fortunately you can’t go wrong with a skirt and this leopard number will be perfect for now and later on in the year. It’s sold out now but I’m sure they’ll have something equally as desirable coming in soon, as they tend to repeat styles in different colourways. Case in point, I bought this dress three years ago and they bring it back every summer!
