I Want You To Know is a fashion, travel & lifestyle blog written by Kristabel Plummer. It’s all about making the most of life (whilst accepting that there might be hiccups along the way)…
Hi, I’m Kristabel, a style-obsessed, food-loving Londoner. I’ve loved everything Internet since the year 2000 (hello Geocities) and started I Want You To Know during my Fashion Knitwear degree in 2008. Fast-forward almost ten years and it’s evolved into a hub of eclectic fashion, travel and lifestyle content.
Authenticity has always been at the heart of everything I write, whether I’m chatting about being black and British, visiting Jamaica or what it’s really like being a blogger at London Fashion Week. Through my posts I demystify blogging, offer a considered message about consumption and investigate how we can create a more inclusive world. My blog is geared towards those trying to make the most out of life, but accepts that there may be hiccups along the way (and that’s perfectly fine). It’s okay to be different, overwhelmed and still sorting your life out.

My background is in knitwear design. I’ve interned in New York, shown at Graduate Fashion Week and gained experience in a High Street design position. After finally satisfying the backpacking itch at age 25, I decided to establish a portfolio career in blogging, public speaking and social media consultancy. I also host The Bloggers’ Market, a shopping event for the socially savvy and my blogger support group #YouCanSitWithUsLDN. My aim is to bring the online world offline and reinvigorate the community.
In April 2018 I was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the Best Content category at the Cosmopolitan Influencer Awards. I’ve also been featured in Stylist Magazine, Grazia France and the Evening Standard, making their Power 1000 list in 2013). In terms of freelance writing, I’ve written for the Evening Standard, Buzzfeed, The Debrief and Metro Online. I’ve spoken at Blogtacular, Pinterest, BBC and consulted for Pantene. Some of my most ambitious projects for 2017 involved Air Canada, Campo Viejo and Ikea. I also have ongoing partnerships with Schwarzkopf and Collect Plus.
